The King of Tooro Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukiidi Iv has received an award for his role in promoting peace.
The Peace Award was bestowed by Peace activist Man Hee Lee from South Korea.
Mr Lee said King Oyo was recognized for his contribution by promoting peace in Uganda. He promised to work together with Tooro Kingdom to bring South Korea investors to Uganda to promote investment within Tooro and the country.
In an event that took place at Tooro Kingdom Kampala palace in Buziga, President Yoweri Museveni was too given a similar award for his role in stabilising Uganda. “These two leaders have done a great job in promoting peace worldwide,” Mr.Lee quoted as saying.
