“Ending the Corrupted Religions that Trigger War…Becoming
One for Peace”
Keynote Address by Mr. Man-Hee Lee, Chairman of Heavenly
Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light
“If world peace is to be truly fulfilled, religions must
first be made into one.”
As anyone may know, serious disputes in every corner of the
world are caused by religion. If there are things that even the renowned
politicians are unable to resolve, then it is a religious matter. In other
words, it means that ‘religion’ is the largest stumbling block to world peace. However,
Chairman Man-Hee Lee states that because the very essence of religion is ‘peace’,
it must be fulfilled.
“I proclaim peace. However, contrarily there are also people
who declare war.”
This message of Chairman Lee can be understood as words
bearing in mind the fact that there are people who do not see with good nature
the cherished activities of HWPL.
Chairman Lee said that he earnestly desires peace as much as
to forget himself and only to work for this goal with all his strength. “Even
with just a single word, I wish they would help in this work to fulfill peace.”
In this appeal by Chairman Lee, his heartfelt sincerity is expressed.
If there is no thought about accomplishing something, then
there is no possibility of accomplishing that task. Wherever his heart full of
the will to surely fulfill peace goes, it really generates new paths for true
peace.
“What should we pass on as inheritance to the future
generations, isn’t it peace? Should we pass on war where people tear and kill
each other?” Through such powerful voice of concern, the Peace Agreement in
Mindanao, Philippines was drawn out. This region was the place of fighting and
bloodshed between the two powers of Islam and Catholic for the past 40 years. Chairman
Lee called and gathered together many prominent dignitaries in this World
Alliance of Religions Peace Summit. And he clearly pointed out that ‘All
religions must become one.’ Corrupted religion is harming peace, and it has
become the factor that triggers warfare.
During the giving of the address in this event, he gave one
powerful hit by saying that ‘causing disputes with each other is disgracing
God.’ Also as he mentioned the essence of religion, he said that ‘the true God
does not do conflicts that kill people.’ Once again, he appealed to the world
of religion, which by itself verified its corruption by causing disputes
habitually, that ‘we must now become one.’
He even said that ‘a world of peace without war and evil
will be fulfilled’ and that ‘God the Creator has been working up for this time
and era’ after seeing that the religious leaders had signed the Peace
Agreement. In other words, ‘peace’ is not Chairman Lee’s own thought but it is
the will of God towards this era and that he is merely playing the role as the
tool.
Right up to the point before this World Alliance Peace
Summit, the number of overseas peace trip totaled up to 14 travels. In order to
meet with the leaders of the world, his footsteps never stopped going. Even to
break time or cancel their schedules, the many political and religious leaders
of the world who have participated in this event are actively supporting
Chairman Lee’s peace movement.
The method of peace that Chairman Lee states is to make the
article of ‘cessation of war’ in the international law where the presidents of
each country will sign on this peace agreement. In order to accomplish this, he
has met with many current and former presidents and lawmakers and emphasized
repeatedly that ‘we need to make an article of the cessation of war in the
international law.’ He even stressed that ‘in a war, it is the youth born in
the same era who are sacrificed without even having the opportunity to bloom in
their lives’, and that the UN and all presidents of the world must add the
article of the cessation of war and sign it.
Meanwhile, Chairman Lee was broadcasted in a full coverage
by Philippine national broadcasting company PTV and the largest private
broadcasting company ABS-CBN as the leading role in ending the 40 year dispute
in Mindanao, Philippines on January of this year, which became a hot issue. And
just last month in Beijing, China, he was awarded with the ‘Advocate of World
Peace Award’ by Jang Mae Yeong, the Vice-President of the Chinese National
People's Political Consultative Conference, for his services of peace
movements.

As we all know, the serious wars break out by
religions around the world.
If there is one problem that even famous politicians
couldn't solve, it is a religious problem.
In other words, it means that religion is the
biggest obstacle to make the world peace.
However, Chairman Lee says the essence of the
religion is 'Peace', so the peace must be realized.
"I proclaim peace, but on the contrary, some
people proclaim war."
There are people who are not optimistic about the
activities of HWPL, so Chairman said like this.
Chairman Lee says that he really longs for peace, it
is even more important than himself, so he strives for peace with all his might

words".
His word is sincere.
If there is no thought to accomplish something,
there is no possibility to come true it.
With a heart full of peace, he makes real peace
wherever he goes.
"What should we leave to posterity? it's peace,
I think. Do we have to leave war killing each other?"
With a sincere shout, he drew the peace agreement of
Mindanao island in philippines.
In Mindanao, there have been bloody wars between
Islamic group and chatholic group.
Chairman Lee called eminent persons together to the
WARP Summit and preached that religions must be united into one.
The corrupt religion ruins peace, and it become a
cause setting off war.
He announced in this summit, 'To make conflict Each
Other is disgrace the God'
And Mentioned the essence of religion 'Real God
Doesn't make the conflict people killed'
He appeled to relions make conflict each other
'Now we have to be one'
About religious leaders signed the agreement, He
said 'Now the peace world no war, no evil is come true' 'God worked all days
for today'
Peace is God's reason, not Lee's own thinking, Lee
is only tool to achieve this reason.
Before This Summit, Lee went to abroad 14 times.
He never rest to meet leaders in abroad.

of war' in International law.
To achieve this, Lee shouted to the presidents and
lawyers 'Make the rule of the cessation of war in International Law'
