Supermoon

You guys! Did you see a Supermoon?

A Supermoon is the coincidence of a full moon or a new moon with the closest approach the Moon makes to the Earth on its elliptical orbit, resulting in the largest apparent size of the lunar disk as seen from Earth.

Because it was 14% bigger and 30% brighter than other times of the year.

Around the world, people, of course me, went outside to marvel at its luminosity.

The Supermoon appears larger near the horizon than it does while higher up in the sky.
The picture of the supermoon is a pleasure to see.
