Nature of Plant (written by John Dawson, Rob Lucas)

Plants can be seen anywhere in the world. But, the world does not seem to be oyster to them. They have been surviving in an extreme environment as a plant which has to challenge adjusting. How did they survive in an extreme environment ‘Nature of Plant’ leads the world of plant where they settled but seems to be unlivable. As people travel from ocean to mountain, from the equator to the pole, from desert to wetland, you can go travel seeing plants. Also, you can see creative ideas and unbelievable ability to adjust of plants. Seeing the way for plants to live, you will feel the nature of plants like the title of this book. Plants take the responsibility of every plant by using photosynthesis which uses solar energy. Where might be perfect for plants to live? Wherever has sunlight and water, it is a paradise for plants. However, how many place on earth could be considered as a paradise by plants? Forest that barely gets sunlight in the shades of tall trees, sandy soils where rain often disappears, the ocean and the flood plain where water flows and seem uneasy to breath, the pole which does not have water or soils to sprouts. When there is a big fire, they turn into ashes in an instant, winds are hard to stand, there are even herbivores which eat them out. Place where plants can settle hardly exists. This book makes you feel the value of earth and environment in the process of knowing the nature and the growth process of plants.
